Snowflakes...

This is a frugal way to entertain kids for hours. We all have coffee filters laying around, or at least most of us do. Start by folding filter in half. Then as you see below just keep folding, I folded mine three times. I also was using the smaller filters... the 4 cup size.

 

 

 

The snip, snip, snip!!!! The possibilities are endless to how you snip (I like saying that word, it's fun).

 

Unfold.... and waalaa. you have a snowflake.

 

 

My daughter and I do these on rainy days or days she is sick and stuck inside. Then we then tape them to the inside of the windows of the house. She loves it and everyone gets to see her creations. We also live in the south so it's about as close as we come to snow most of the time.
