Pumpkin Spice Brownies

Pumpkin Spice Brownies...it just sounds like fall comfort food.
This is a very simple recipe that gives your brownies that extra something that will leave folks wondering how you ever learned to cook "like that".

Ingredients: Pumpkin Spice Hershey kisses, pumpkin pie spice, and brownie mix, any kind that you choose. Follow directions on box for ingredients to make them.

Mix brownie mix according to box, then add 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice to mix. Then pour into sprayed pan. I wanted thick moist brownies so I used an 8x8 pan.

Next unwrap all the kisses and put in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 30 second intervals till melted, it only took 45 seconds for me.

Pour melted kisses on top of brownie mix and use a butter knife to marblize. Get as creative as you like for this.
Bake in oven per boxed directions. These being so think took about 45 minutes to get done. Watch them closely and pull out as soon as toothpick comes out clean. If you overcook them they will not be moist and chewy.

Let cool and enjoy. Now doesn't that look pretty and perfect for fall. Would make a great dish to take with you to a get-together with friends or family.

From our kitchen to yours, Mary
